Michelle Collins continued to mock Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Monday’s episode of “The View.”
The co-host joked that Carson’s manner of speech is so low-energy that it actually puts her to sleep. “He’s like human melatonin,” she said. “I’m genuinely dozing off watching him speak.”
“In his defense to that, the guy is a surgeon. You don’t want someone speaking fast when he’s got a scalpel in his hand,” co-host Joy Behar responded.
The panel had been discussing a recent campaign event in New Hampshire where Carson warned that a situation similar to Nazi Germany could occur in America.
“If people don’t speak up for what they believe, then other people will change things without them having a voice. Hitler changed things there and nobody protested. Nobody provided any opposition to him,” he said before denying that he was comparing President Obama to the Nazi leader.
“He said that somebody in this country is like Hitler. It’s like ‘Name That Nazi,’” Behar joked. “It’s like a game. And when he comes [to be a guest on “The View”] tomorrow, I want to know who he’s talking about.”
