Does America dig the bad boy? The answer, according to streaming TV viewers, is they at least want to watch a lot of them, as “bad boys” of one kind or another feature prominently in the top three most-watched streaming programs on the Samba TV Weekly Wrap Report.

In first place is “The Penguin,” the Max series starring the fictional supervillain and Batman nemesis. The series has been a runaway hit for Max, holding the top spot on the streaming chart for four straight weeks.

In second place is the story of two real-life brothers and their infamous bad deeds. “The Menendez Brothers” is a Netflix documentary about the siblings convicted of murdering their parents. The documentary comes in the wake of “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” a popular series that retells the murders using actors. That series is No. 6 this week and is enjoying its fourth consecutive week in the ranking.

Finally, at No. 3 sits the titular “Bad Boys,” Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Their fourth film in the franchise, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” made its way onto Netflix this week and debuted at No. 3 on the streaming chart.

Following all of that bad energy is a feel-good hit in “Nobody Wants This,” the Netflix rom-com series that has been a steady presence on the chart since it arrived on streaming on Sept. 26.

No. 5 this week is “Outer Banks,” the Netflix hit that returns for its fourth season. An audience of one million households watched the first episode the first four days it was available. That’s sizable for a TV series, but down by 37% compared to the Season 3 premiere. Another returning Netflix hit, “Love is Blind,” lands at No. 8 with the start of its seventh season.

No. 6 this week is “Tulsa King,” the Paramount+ series starring Sylvester Stallone. Two more silver foxes star in the No. 9 show, Hulu original “The Old Man,” starring Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. Finally, No. 10 is “My Brilliant Friend.” The Max / HBO adaptation of the bestselling Elena Ferrante novels is now in its fourth season.

Meanwhile, with no live political events this week, “The Voice” reclaimed its throne atop the linear chart. The NBC smash claims the top two spots this week. No. 3 is “Tracker” on CBS. The drama series returned for its second season on Oct. 13, following a successful first season that kicked off following the Super Bowl earlier this year.

Ariana Grande’s second turn hosting “Saturday Night Live” helped the sketch comedy show land in No. 5 this week. The Top 10 is rounded out by three sets of pairs. Two episodes of “Dancing with the Stars” make the list this week (No. 4 and No. 6), along with two entries from NBC’s Chicago universe, with “Chicago Med” and “Chicago Fire” coming in at No. 7 and No. 8, respectively. Finally, two showings of “Wheel of Fortune” come in at No. 9 and No. 10.

The Wrap Report provides an exclusive first look at the most watched movies and TV series from the past week across both streaming and linear television sourced from viewership trends collected from Samba TV’s panel of more than 3 million households, balanced to the U.S. Census.
