Lamar Odom Wasn’t Using ‘Any Illegal Drugs’ at Brothel, Owner Claims (Video)

Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof says the only sign of any trouble was “a phone call on Sunday that upset him a little bit”

Lamar Odom didn’t appear to be using or in possession of “any illegal drugs” before he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday and rushed to the hospital, where he remains in a coma.

“The police looked through his things and they didn’t tell us they found anything,” Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof told ET Online in a new interview. “The girls that were hanging out with him didn’t see any use of any illegal drugs at all.”

Hof previously told TheWrap that the situation is “not good,” and expanded on those sentiments while discussing the former L.A. Lakers forward’s condition in the new interview.

“He looked terrible,” Hof said of the 35-year-old former NBA and reality television star’s appearance before being rushed to the hospital. “He looked like a guy who was really sick and needed to be rushed to an ER immediately.”

But when Odom arrived at the brothel on Saturday, Hof said the athlete who was once married to Khloe Kardashian appeared fine.

“We picked him up at his place in Las Vegas. Brought him out there. Great mood. Ready to have a good time,” Hof said. “He just wanted a little peace and quiet and get away from the pressures of his life.”

The only sign of possible trouble was “a phone call on Sunday that upset him a little bit.”

“I don’t know what that was about,” Hof said. “But after that he regrouped, and he was eating good. Sleeping good and just having a good time.”

Odom joined the NBA as a first round draft pick in 1999 and went on to play for the Lakers from 2004 to 2011.

He last played in the league for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2013 before becoming a free agent in July of that year. A month later, he was arrested for DUI. On Dec. 9, 2013, Odom pleaded no contest to the charge and accepted a sentence of three years probation and three months of alcohol abuse treatment.

Kardashian filed for divorce four days later following months of speculation that their marriage was in trouble.

The couple’s September 2009 wedding was featured on an episode of E!’s reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” A short-lived spin-off, “Khloe & Lamar,” premiered in April 2011 and aired for two seasons.
