Christina Grimmie Searches for Her Prince in Posthumous Music Video ‘Snow White’

“The Voice” favorite was killed in June following her Orlando concert

Two months after her death, Christina Grimmie continues to entertain.

On Thursday, the singer’s’s family released the first of four posthumous music videos featuring the “Voice” favorite.

The clip, “Snow White,” finds Grimmie doubting her current relationship and singing, “Some day my prince will come for me, save me from this harm that haunts me.”

The four videos, collectively dubbed “The Ballad of Jessica Blue,” feature songs from Grimmie’s “Side A” EP.

“The story follows a young girl’s journey into self-discovery through her love life, her womanhood and her music,” a description of the video series posted to Grimmie’s Twitter account states.

The videos, filmed in February, follow “Jessica Blue through the songs ‘Snow White,’ ‘Anybody’s You,’ ‘Deception’ and ‘Without Him’ on her journey to find her voice and her path in life only to find they are one in the same.”

Grimmie was killed on June 10 at age 22 after a concert in Orlando, Florida, when a man who was reportedly obsessed with her opened fire on the singer.

The gunman, 21-year-old Kevin James Loibl, shot and killed himself during the incident.

The coroner’s office later confirmed that the singer died of two gunshot wounds to the chest and one to the head.
