NBC won Tuesday night with a repeat of Sunday’s “America’s Got Talent.” ABC aired originals, but had to settle for a tie for second place in the ratings.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 7.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following the “AGT” encore, “Night Shift” at 10 p.m. had a 1.2/4 and 6 million viewers.

ABC and Univision tied for second in ratings, both with a 1.1/4. ABC was third in viewers with 3.6 million viewers, Univision was fourth with 2.8 million viewers.
For ABC, “Extreme Weight Loss” at 8 ticked up 25 percent to a 1.0/3 and had 3.5 million viewers. “Celebrity Wife Swap” at 10 received a 1.3/4 and 3.8 million viewers.
CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and second in viewers with 6.8 million, airing reruns.

Telemundo and Fox tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.6/2. Telemundo was fifth in viewers with 1.5 million, Fox, airing repeats, was sixth with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in total viewers with 617,000. “Famous in 12” at 8 got a 0.2/1 and 596,000 viewers. A rerun followed.
